Hello, I’m Benedetta, your Local Expert in Rome!
Born and raised in Venice, I’m a blend of Italian cultures thanks to a Sicilian father and a Romagna mother… That’s right, exactly where Cannoli and Lasagna (or Ferrari!) come from!
After graduating with a degree in International Relations, I moved to Rome and let this gigantic city and its wonders “adopt” and pamper me. I fell in love with everything from the art and the people to the food and the lifestyle. But have you ever seen a pink sky as beautiful as the Roman sunset?
After a wonderful experience in retail, I decided to give my life a new twist in 2022. I grabbed my backpack and traveled for months to find myself. In 2024, I got my license to guide you in exploring Rome. My tours combine academic history with interesting facts, traditions with food, all while helping you immerse yourself in the electric and vibrant vibe that makes this city so unique.
As a true food lover, I also earned my Pastry Chef diploma and completed my Spirits and Wine Diplomas at the prestigious WSET Academy. I’ll take you on a food and wine journey where you’ll discover both well-known and hidden specialties. We’ll find the perfect wine pairings in places where locals are ready to share a laugh and anecdotes about their daily lives.

As a tireless traveler, I’ve always thrown a backpack on my back and gone exploring the world. I always try to immerse myself and appreciate places through the eyes of the locals. By doing this, I’ve been able to learn so much about the local culture and discover foods and places that I otherwise would never have tasted. By immersing myself, I’ve learned to appreciate diversity.
Here I am, ready to share every fun fact and answer all your questions to help you fully enjoy one of the most splendid cities in the world, with its ancient history, lavish art, and vibrant energy. The city is full of people who are always on the go but would never give up the pink sky of a Roman sunset, which makes the Eternal City so unique.
